that the Sanford Histroical Trust has been give permission to do some landscaping around
the building, as the larger project brings concerns to the City regarding the care of the
garden after it is planted and the cost associated with it. The plants that would be planted
are plants that would be established and that Sanford would be famous for. However, the
errsion around Lake Carola would need to be repaired before moving forward with any
other projects. Fund raising would be required to start and maintain the project. This type
of project is supported by the Parks and Recreation Department, however, it would need
to be supported by the City and City Commission to be able to move foreward.
