' 1 02, 1 Mr. VonHerhulis moved to recommend the City Cornivission deny the request to amend the Planned Development zoning of approximately 21.16 acres to modify land use and design standards for a portion of the Tuscany Village (commercial) PD and establish the Tuscany Village (mixed-use) PD., a proposed 420 -unit multiple family residential development and 2.24 acres of conimercial development with a project address of 4201 West I" Street based on the request being inconsistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the City's Comprehensive plan. More specifically, the denial is based on not being consistent with WIC, West Industry and Commerce, the Objective FLU 1.12 of the Comprehensive Plan mix -use, the LDR-Schedule E, open space, and the LDR, Schedule H, parking. Mr. Miller seconded. Motion carried, 6-1. Derrick Thomas voted to approve the request stating that he finds that it is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan. Darren Ebersole, Planner, City of Sant -lord Mr. Miller inoved to recoinmend the City Coininission approve an ordinance to amend the Future, Land Use map of the City of Sanford Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Flerbulhs� seconded. Motion carried, 7-0. PH -513 Hold a Public Hearing to update the City's zoning map by assigning corresponding City zoning districts to recently annexed properties. Representative: Darren Ebersole, Planner, City of Sanford Mr. Miller moved to recommend the City Commission to approve an ordinance to rezone 30 properties totaling 37.03 acres based on consistency with the JPA as well as the goals, objectives and policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan as recommended by staff".
