S~FO~, UPON ~OPTION OF SAID O~IN~CE, A
PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BE~EEN
BEA~L AVENUE ~D CAMERON AVENUE BETWEEN STATE
RO~ 46 AND MOORES STATION RO~; SAID PROPERTY
BEING SITUATED IN S~INOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN
ACCO~CE WITH THE VOLUNT~Y ~NE~TION
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.044, FLORIDA STATUTES; P CD :!:!,~
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS ~D EFFECT
DATE.
~EREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the names of the
property o~ers in the area described hereinafter requesting
annexation to the corporation area of the City of Sanford, Florida,
and requesting to be included therein; and
~EREAS, the Property Appraiser of Seminole County, Florida
having certified that there are two property owners in the area to be
annexed and that said property owners have signed the Petition for
Annexation; and
~EREAS, it has been dete~ined that the property described
hereinafter is reasonably compact and contiguous to the corporate
areas of the City of Sanford, Florida,and it has further been
determined that the annexation of said property will not result in the
creation of any ericlave; and
~EREAS, the City of Sanford, Florida, is in a position to
provide municipal services to the property described herein, and that
the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it in the
best interest of the City to accept said petition and to annex said
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY ~E PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
S~FO~, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the property described below, situated in
Seminole County, Florida, be and the same is hereby annexed to and
made a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary
annexation provisions of Section 171.044, Florida Statutes:
N 1/2 of Lot llA, SANFO~ CELERY DELTA, according
to the plat thereof as recorded in PG 1, PGS 75 &
76, of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida.
SECTION 2: That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
property owner and any resident on the property described herein shall
be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City
of Sanford, Florida, as further provided in Chapter 171, Florid~a
Statutes and shall further be subject to the responsibilities ~
residence or o~ership as may from time to time be dete~ined by t~
governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and th~
provisions of said Chapter 171, Florida Statutes.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it s~all
not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall become effective
i~ediately upon its passage and adoption.
