local, State & National Codes. This contactor shall obtain all required
permits.& shall arrange all required inspections upon completion of the
work. A certification of conformance shall be provided to the Owner and
Tenant.
3.) The completed installation shall be guaranteed and warranted for one
year afte-[ final acceptance.
4.) Manufacturer's names on which this specification is based indicate
the minimum quality of product required. Substitution may be made to
those specified if deemed equivalent by the owner's representative. All
work and products shall meet the requirements.
5.) See architectural general and special conditions. These requirements
shall apply unless otherwise specified.
6.) As -built drawings shall indicate installed layouts with dimensions plus
the manufacturer's model number of each equipment item actually
installed, (includes' air distribution devices; VAV boxes & temperature
control components)
7.) Deficiencies and non -conforming items shall be corrected by the
contractor. Failure to correct such items shall permit the landlord to

B. Scope of Work
1.) The furnishing and installation of a ventilation & air conditioning
system derived from the Landlord's high velocity,high pressure, (cooling
only) conditioned air system,cosi sting generally of the following:
a. VAV box with electronic control & thermostat.
b. primary air duct & tap into Landlords' trunk duct
c. complete system of supply air (secondary) ductwork including air
distribution devices.
d. transfer ductwork a shown for return including grilles &
fire dampers.
2.) Contractor shall adjust the temperature control system & leave in full
operating condition.
3.) Contractor shall balance the supply air system to provide the terminal .
values shown.
4.) Contractor shall provide a final air balance report and temperature
.control adjustment report to the owner upon completion.
5.) Contractor shall deliver to the Landlord & tenant all warrantees,
certificates and reports as required herein.

C, Installatiorf & Materials
1.) Primary.Air Ductwork & Tap into Landlords trunk duct shall be
shop fabricated from galvanized sheet steel in accordance with the
standards of both ASH RAE & SMACNA for 4 inch pressure
classification, high velocity system.
2.) Ductwork Construction: ductwork shall be shop fabricated from
galvanized sheet steel in accordance with the standards of both
ASH RAE & SMACNA for low pressure -low velocity systems.

scoops, etc. To conform to the referenced standards. Duct sizes
are "Net'° and shall be increased to allow.for the specified duct
liners.
3.)Flexible Duct: No flexible duct will be required,

lined with 1 'duct liner' with K-factor of 2.6 at 100 degrees F.

and for control by a Johnson controls "VAV box controller system".
The VAV box unit shall have an 8" inlet for 1100 cfm primary air
supply, and 8" straight flanged outlet with damper, Unit shall have
full 1" matte -faced insulation overall. VAV Box shall be Trane
#VCCE-1 1-MT1-FL-8W-E105-120-fctr. Control circuit shall be
derived from a 120 volt source.
8.) Temperature control shall cosist of a VAV box controller with
rermote wall mounted sensorunit, all of which shall interface with
the Trane VAV box above. The box controller shall be Johnson
Controls # AS-VAVDPT-2, with # TE-6000-4 sensor, transformer
with 120Volt primary,sensor mounting plate and NT jack, all of
which shall form a complete operating system.
9.) Install settings for the VAV box. Control system shall -provide
the.following air volumes:
