NAPA 115 West First Street SUBJECT: Addendum•#1 Invitation to Bid Gentlemen: The following addendum ,items hereby modify, change or re -- vise the work as shown on the drawings and the Bidders are hereby instructed to include the cost of these items in their Bid. 1. Exterior face of east and west party walls and eight feet in a southerly direction (above roof) paint existing stucco to match new stucco color coat. 2. The width of single leaf wood french doors is changed from 216" wide to 3°0" wide. 3• On top of the canopy on the eastern and western corner mount 2 each PAR 150 watt floods (exterior type) to be aimed at sign location. 4. Extend 3/4" water line from existing plumbing in storage through exterior face of wall and mount hose bibb. Also install valve in storage room to control this water line. e 5. Change carpet to Tarkett Gafstar "Coppini" vinyl floor tile or equal as approved by Architect. C. NAPA 115 West First Street SUBJECT: INVITATION TO BID Gentlemen: You are hereby invited to submit sealed proposals to the architect for the above captioned project by Wednesday, July 3, 1985 at 4:00 p.m. T,he following items shall be complied with for this project: 1. The Owner will continue his business operation during the remodeling process and the contractor shall en- deavor to maintain his construction work in a neat, orderly manner with all refuse from his work being properly disposed of at the end of each day. 2. All aluminum siding and trim removed from front of building shall be neatly stored at rear of building and remain the owners property. 3. All Bidders are instructed to use 1 x 6 T & G Cedar on furring strips as the cost basis of their base bid. As an Alternate Deduct from Base Bid, each bidder shall quote prefinished "masonite" paneling for wall and ceil- ing finish and 5/8 T-1-11 fir plywood (stained) for exterior finish. The Base Bid for all timber framingisunfinishedcedar. As an Alternate Deduct from Base Bid, quote P.T. southern yellow pine (stained). 4. All work to be performed in accordance with Southern Standard Building Code and local, state and Federal laws. The contractor shall pay all workmen's compen- sation and have in effect liability insurance as re- quired by law and hold the owner harmless as the result of any act on the part of the contractor. 5. Method of Payments on or before the'28th day of eachmonth, the contractor shall prepare an Application for Payment for work completed and materials suitably stored i Sanford Auto Parts Inc. The owner shall pay the amount as cer- tified by the architect by the 8th day of the follow- ing month. 6. Time of Completion: upon the owner's acceptance of of the Low Bid and Award of Contract, the contractor agrees to commence work immediately and complete the contract in 90 days from Date of Contract. 7.
