This department has received and reviewed the request for Sign Permits for the above referenced property and
has approved the plans subject to the following:
The applicant shall be permitted to remove and replace the existing channel letters (all existing
signage) on the "Farmer's Furniture" with one 6' by 24' (totaling 148 square feet) attached box
wall sign based on a store frontage exceeding 100 linear feet and subject to said sign meeting the
illumination codes within Schedule K - Sign Regulations specifically:
Internally illuminated signs, with or without changeable copy, shall only be constructed with
blackout or opaque backgrounds and punch out or translucent lettering, logos, symbols, etc."
The applicant shall also be permitted to change the COPY ONLY in the freestanding sign at the
street based on the sign being a multi- tenant identifier subject to said sign meeting the above
referenced lighting requirements and the site/sign meeting the conformance provisions as defined
in Schedule K - Sign Regulations, Section 9.0 Nonconforming Signs.

To Whom it May Concern,
This letter shall serve as authorization for Athen's Sign Company to apply for a sign permit
and erect exterior signage at Sanford Towne Center for our Farmer's Furniture tenant. Said
sign needs to be installed as per the attached Exhibit. Letters must be mounted on a raceway
painted to match exterior) and all wall penetrations must be caulked and painted in a
workmanlike manner. We are authorizing Farmers Furniture to use a total of 280 square feet
of signage at this time.
By accepting this authorization to install a sign, Athen's Sign Company recognizes that they
are solely responsible for any damage or liability in connection with said installation
including, but not limited to damage to the fragile soffit area while installing said sign..
