Communications at 407- 665- 5100 each day before burning. Applicant must agree to the following requirements before a permit is issued. The fire prevention division must check the site and conditions prior to a permit being issued. 1. Burning is to be done on premises where it was generated. 2. Minimum of 25 ft from any woodlands, forest, or brush 3. Minimum of 50 ft from any residence on the property 4. Minimum of 100 ft from any other occupied building 5. Must burn in a non-combustible container or pit covered by a metal mesh or grill (Residential) 6. Burning started after 9:00 a.m. and extinguished (No visible Flame or Smoke) 1 hour before sunset 7. Someone must stay with fire at all times and must have burn permit with them on site 8. Must have fire extinguishing equipment readily available 9. Burning must not create a nuisance. 10.
