French Ave. Sanford, Florida 32771 Re: Residential Living Units for Father Flanagan's Boys Town Dear Mr. Cohen: Per our conversation on October 26, 1989, pertaining to your preliminary review of the referenced construction documents, the following is submitted as an addendum to same. 1) A automatic fire suppression system per NFPA-96 shall be installed in the exhaust hood over the kitchen range/oven. 2) The existing bed room doors shall be removed and replaced with 1-3/4" solid core wood doors with closers. 3) Emergency lights shall be installed in the new hallways and opposite exterior exits per item #27 on sheet A-7. 4) Smoke detectors shall be installed in all bed rooms as shown on first floor plan, sheet A-6, in kitchen and in multi -purpose room on second floor. See referenced symbol on A-7. 5) A fire alarm system shall be installed per sheet A-6 on both floors. FA indicating alarm and P.S. FA indicating pull station. 6) Fire extinguishers shall be installed per your direction. 7) All interior finishes are existing painted gypsum wall board and should meet class "A" finish requirements. 8) The new vinyl composition tile and carpet shall meet the class 1-SBC requirements and so be certified by the general contractor. 9) A 2'6" X 6'8" X 1-3/4" solid core wood door with closer and latchset shall be installed at the new interior stairwell on the first floor.
