There is no life safety purpose served by Lling exits from the center of a large machine or equipmentionwheretherearenooccupantsundernormaloperatingtons. A number of industries provide weather shelter for ,large' ses and equipment. Typical examples include steel rolling mills, extruders, and metalworking machines, . all of which occupy a ; 'f, sty of the floor space in the sheltered building.
