Pumps shall be capable of handling animal waste & hair with minimal maintenance. The motor shall be 2 HP, 1750 RPM, VOLT/ 3 PHASE/ 60 HERTZ. The motor shall be an integral part of the pumping unit. Seal faces of tungsten carbide are optional. Impeller - Shall be cast iron and o'f the 2 vane non -clog enclosed type. Vane inlet tips shall be carefully rounded to prevent stringy material from catching in the vanes. Pump -out vanes shall be used on front and back shrouds and impeller shall be dynamically balanced by grinding on shroud faces. Impeller to be driven by stainless steel shaft key and impeller held in place with lock screw and washer. Impeller and motor shall lift off case as a unit without disturbing discharge piping. The enclosure shall be NEMA 3R, minimum 24' high, 24" wide, 8" deep, fabricated from hot dipped galvanized steel, painted gray with provision for padlocking.
