AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE XIII - HISTORIC
PRESERVATION ORDINANCE BY AMENDING'SECTION 2-
203 OF THE SANFORD CITY CODE; PROVIDING FO~
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Sanford City
Commission to amend Chapter 2, Section 2-203 of the Sanford City
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Chapter 2, Article XIII, Section 2-203 is'
amended to read as follows:
There is hereby created and established a
Historic Preservation Board which shall
consist of (11) members of which nine (9) or
more are residents or taxpayers of the City,
and two (2) or less may be residing outside
the city, all of whom shall be appointed by
the City Commission.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional
it shallnot be held to impair the validity, force or effect of
any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
