Mr. Kutz called the meeting to order at 10 AME
Minutes
Mr. Yosefian moved to approve the Minutes of the July 15, 2010 Regular Meeting. Mr. Loader seconded.
All in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.
Proof of Publication
Mr. ionHerbulis moved to accept the proof of publications. Mr. Yosefian seconded. All in favor. Motion
carried 6 -0.
Public Hearings
Hold a Public Hearing to consider a Variance to allow a 9 1) 8 1) high block wall for a secured parking lot at
the Seminole County Courthouse located at 301 N. Park Avenue. Seminole B C C, property owner; Ed
Bayton and Rafael Fernandez, Fleet/Facilities Division - Seminole County, representatives.
Mr.
M ills moved to accept the wall as designed with the following conditions: the gate 1.) material be
changed possibly to an aluminum, but something ornamental and it goes up to 10 feet tall to add to the
security they are attempting; 2.) the wall be planted with an attaching vine similar to or equal to fig vines
and irrigated properly so it will eventually turn into a "green screen." Mr. Green seconded. All in favor.
Motion carried 6 -0.

Mr. Loader moved to approve the Conditional Use subject to City Commission approval and a
Development Order to include the conditions as recommended by staff. Mr. Green seconded. All in favor.
Motion carried 6 -0.
