of these footers with reinforcement bar replacement.

room dimensions, door, window, and/or opening sizes, smoke detector,
location(s), landings, decks and stairs. Bathroom fixtures and
distances from walls are to be shown.
Note the State of Florida requirements for bath door for compliance
of Handicapped Code (F.S. 553, Part 5)
C. Elevations of all exterior wails, east, west, north and south. Finish
floor elevation height as per City Engineering Department or
subdivision plat.
t d. Cross sections of all wall sections to be used In the structure. Bearing
A non -bearing inter and exterior. Show all components of wall section.
r c. Framing plan for floor joists where conventionally framed. Plan to
indicate span, size and species of materials to be used.

6. Appllcatlon to be completed thoroughly and signatures provided by a
licensed and insured contractor. OWNER/BUILDER MUST APPEAR IN
PERSONS TO SIGN APPLICATION AS PER FLORIDA STATE
STATUTE 489. Subcontractor license numbers must be included on the
application. If electrical, mechanical or plumbing permits have not been
issued, inspections will not be scheduled or made and subcontractors will be
subject to penalty under the City Ordinances.

1. Finish floor elevation shall be 16 inches above center line of established street or a min. of 8"
above grade when property has no paved street & City Sec.6-7.
a- 2. Strip footers shall be continuous with 2-5# rebars for 1-story buildings, 2-story buildings shall have 3-
5 rebars in footers, and #5 dowel at each corner. Size of footers shall be 8" a 16" min. for a 1-story
and 10" a 20" for a 2-story.
3. Mono footer/slab combination shall be 20" deep and 16" wide with 45 degree angle into 4" slab 2-
story shall be 20" deep and 20" wide with 45 degree angle into 4" slab. Reinforcement shall be as
in strip footer all laps a min. of 25 inches.
4. • Masonry construction shall have a min. of 145 rebar in lintel course or tie beams. Vertical down rods
shall be #5 rebar with 24" bend tied to lintel rebar and am min. Of 25" lap at each dowel and tied.
5. Truss design roof structures shall be engineered and layout and bracing schedule (UM-91) on job at
time of framing inspection. Trusses shall be anchored with truss anchors directly embedded in concrete
lintel or tie beam as per Section 2110.2.2 & 2110.3.2. 1997 S.B.C.
6. All framing shall comply to Section 2301 including; bracing and fastened by proper connectors, Table
2306.1,1997 S.B.C.
7. Window egress in sleeping rooms shall comply to Section 1005.4,1997, S.B.C. All metal windows
shall be labeled R-30 to comply to Section 1606 wind load.
ff- 8. Brick veneer shall be installed and anchored as per section 1403.2 and veneer ties as per section
811.2.4,1997, S.B.C. Vapor barrier between brick or stone to frame structures.
9. All electrical wiring, service and fixtures shall comply to 1996 N.E.C. and Notice "L" Amendments.
10. All plumbing and fixtures shall comply to 1994, S.P.C. One bathroom shall comply to 1997 H.C.F.S.
553, Part 5.
11. All mechanical equipment and duct system shall comply to 1997, S.M.C. and 1997 Florida Energy
Code (R-6 ducts).
