ZURN "EJECTO-MATIC" GREASEPTOR When a greaseptor of a given size has retaired the maximum quantity of grease for which it is rated, and the necessary clean- ing cycle is not strictly adhered to, any grease entering the greaseptor over and above this fix--d quantity will be passed into the drainage byvtem until the greaseptor is cleaned. To simplify the cleaning process and prevent grease from clogging drainage lines, Zurn Engineering has developed the new "Ejecto- Matic" Greaseptor. This unique unit is provided with a skim- ming tray which retains the accumulation of grease. Cleaninr, then simply L-tcomes a matter of discharging hot water through the grea::eptor. The resultan` heat liquefies the grease, which is then ej rated through the nozzle at the turn of the handle. The ejected grease may be collected in a bucket or other container for easy disposal. Any water that may enter the tray is directed back into the intercepting chamber by means of a water discharge port incorporated into the design of the skimming tray. ZURN "'POLY-ZYME" GREASEPTOR Poly-zymeu _ y Treatment port Zurn ZE-1170 Poly-Zyme Greaseptor utilizes a remarkable bio- chemical compound called "Zum Poly-Zyme II" to put an end to messy, odorous, manual cleaning normally associated with ordinary grease interceptors. The special formula converts grease to liquid and water-soluble compounds which cannot revert to their original form. This scientific approach to modern grease interception permits a truly automatic cleaning action that is positive, safe, sanitary, thorough and economical. The cover stays in place, and only the treatment plug is removed for periodic additions of Zurn Poly-Zyme II compound. Zurn Poly-Zyme Greaseptors are identical dimensionally to standard units and require no elaborate installation set-up or equipment. Standard units now ir, service may b- modernized by the -.simple expedient of installing a replacement cover which contains an entry port and gasketed port plug for easy addition of Zum Poly-Zyme II concentrate.
