ORDINANCE NO. t927-
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF THAT CERTAIN 7 FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT
LYING EAST OF HIDDEN LAKE DRIVE ~D LYING
BET~EN LOCH LOW LANE AND ME~OW HILLS DRIVE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVE~BILITY, CONFLICTS ~D
EFFECTI~ DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property that
certain 7 foot utility easement lying East of Hidden Lake Drive
and lying between Loch Low Lane and Meadow Hills Drive, applied
to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to have said
property closed, vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 8, 1988,
for consideration and determination as to whether or not the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that easement should be
allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Co~ission has determined that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does
not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order,
convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing,
vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Sectional: That two Ease/West certain utility
easements lying West of and abutting Oregon Avenue and lying
between Kaywood Drive and Quail Ridge Court, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at that Southwesterly corner of Lot
2; thence run North 43~46"17' East along the
Southerly line of Lot 2 for a distance of 5
feet to point of beginning; thence along the
South line of said Lot 2 to a point 5 feet
Westerly of the Easterly corner of Lot 2;
thence run Northwesterly parallel to the
Easterly line of Lot 2 for a distance of 7
feet; thence run Westerly parallel to the
Southerly lot line of Lot 2 to a point 5 feet
Easterly of the Westerly line of Lot 2;
thence Southerly to point of beginning; Lot
2, Block G, Hidden Lake Unit l-C, as recorded
in Plat Book 17, Pages 55-56, Public records
of Seminole County, Florida.
SECTION-2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION-3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinanees
in Conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTIONs4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
