AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN US 17-92
AND FLAMINGO DRIVE AND LYING BETWEEN COLLINS
DRIVE AND COUNTY ROAD 427 TO BE REZONED FROM
AD (AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERA-
BILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
The Northerly 90 feet of the South 250 feet
of the North 484 feet of the NE 1/4 of the SW
1/4 lying East Of State Road No. 600 (US 17-
92), Less the Westerly 600 feet and Easterly
280 feet, Section 14, Township 20 South,
Range 30 East, Seminole County, Florida, as
recorded in the Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from AD (Agricultural) District
to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
