AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN THE LEGAL
DESCRIPTION IN ORDINANCE NO. 1896, FROM 660
FEET TO 600 FEET; SAID ORDINANCE BEING A
ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE
ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY
LYING BETWEEN 17-92 AND FLAMINGO DRIVE AND
BETWEEN COLLINS DRIVE AND COUNTY ROAD 427
FROM AD (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO GC-2
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1896, said ordinance changing
the zoning of a portion of that certain property, was passed by
the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on October
26, 1987;
WHEREAS, a scrivener's error has been discovered in the
original Ordinance 1896;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
The Westerly 600 feet of the South 250 feet
of the North 484 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of
the Southwest 1/4 lying East of State Road,
section 14, Township 20 South, Range 30 East,
Seminole County, Florida, LESS the Westerly
250 feet thereof (by perpendicular measure-
ment). Containing 1.54 acres.
be and the same is hereby rezoned fromAD (Agricultural) District
to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this 6rdinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
