ORDINANCE NO. 1879 '
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ~
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING ANY RIGHT OF m
THE CITY AND THE PUBLIC IN AND TO A ~ __
NORTH/SOUTH UTILITY EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN ~ CO
EAST 24TH STREET AND EAST 24TH PLACE AND ~ ~
LYING BETWEEN FRENCH AVENUE AND MAPLE AVENUE~ 4~
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property
North/South utility easement lying between East 24th Street and
East 24th Place and lying between French Avenue and Maple Avenue,
applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to
have said property closed, vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 13, 1987,
for consideration and determination as to whether or not the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain portion should
be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does
not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order,
convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing,
vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That a North/South utility easement lying
between East 24th Street and East 24th Place and lying between
French Avenue and Maple Avenue, further described as follows:
That certain 14' North/South utility easement
lying along the Easterly 7' of the North 11.8
feet of Lot 1 and the Easterly 7' of Lots 2
through 6, and also lying along the Westerly
7' of the North 11.8 feet of Lot 20 and the
Westerly 7' of Lots 15 through 19, Block 15,
Third Section, DREAMWORLD, Plat Book 4, Page
70, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section Or portion Of a section o~
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force o
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance

SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
