AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1097 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN WEST 4TH
STREET AND WEST 5TH STREET AND LYING BETWEEN
CEDAR AVENUE AND HOLLY AVENUE FROM MR-2
(MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DIS-
TRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
Lots I through 10, Block 8, Tier 11, TOWN OF
SANFORD, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 62
of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-2 (Multiple-Family
Residential Dwelling) District to GC-2 (General Commercial)
District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
