HomeMy WebLinkAbout1833 ORDINANCE NO. 1833 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY; SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF U. S. HIGHWAY 17 & 92 AND LAKE MINNIE DRIVE FROM MR-1 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO MR-2 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows: Part of Lots 5, 7, 8, 9 through 12 and the vacated part of Lake Minnie Drive, Lake Minnie Estates, Seminole County, Florida, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 92, Public Records, Seminole County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the SW corner of Lot 4, Lake Minnie Estates, thence N. 89o13'30'' W., (bearings based on FL Dept. of Trans. R-O-W Map for State Roads 15 and 600), for 465.81 ft.; thence N. 28o28'46" E. for 856.66ft. to the N. line of Lot 10; thence N. 73°52'17'' W. along the N. line of Lot 10 for 109.63 ft. to the NW corner thereof; thence N. 70°21'21'' W. along the N. line of Lot 12 for 199.61 ft. to the NW corner thereof; thence S. 40o58'25" W. for 1959.95 ft. to the SW corner of Lot 11; thence S. 89o13'30'' E. along the S. line of Lots 11, 9, 7 and 5 for 1172.73 ft. to the SE corner of Lot 5; thence N. 35o56'30'' E. for 789.01 ft. to the POB. LESS: Portions of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, and the vacated part of Lake Minnie Drive, Lake Minnie Estates, Seminole County, Florida, as per plat recorded in PB 6, Pg. 92, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; more particularly described as follows: Begin at the SE corner of said Lot 6; thence run S. 35°56'30"W., to the NE corner of said Lot 5, a distance of 61.16 ft., thence run N. 89o13'30" W., to a point on the Westerly line of said Lot 11, a distance of 1089.15 ft., said point lies N. 40o58'25" E., a distance of 778.99 ft. from the SW corner of said Lot 11; thence run N. 40°58'25"E., along the Westerly line of said Lots 11 and 12, to the NW corner of said Lot 12, a distance of 1180.96 ft., thence run S 70°21'12" E., along the N. line of said Lot 12, to the NE corner of said Lot 12, also being the NW corner of said Lot 10, a distance of 199.61 ft., thence run S 73°52'17'' E., along the N. line of said Lot 10, a distance of 109.62 ft., thence run S. 28o28'46'' W. , a distance of 856.66 ft. , thence run N. 89°13'30'' W., a distance of 465.81 ft. to the POB; be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-1 (Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling) District to MR-2 (Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling) District. SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked. SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of November , A.D. 1986. MAYOR ATTEST: CERTIFICATE t, H. N.
