AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, MAKING
APPROPRLATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1984, AND E~DING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1985; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS, AND E~'F~CTIVE DATE.
WHERFAS, the City Manager has prepared end submitted a budget of
revenues end expenditures of the City of Senford, Florida, for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1984, and ending September 30, 1985, in accordence
with the Charter of the City of Sanford, Florida, and upon consideration
thereof, said budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved
as the budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1984,
and ending September 30, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Cc~mission of the City of Sanford, Florida, is of
the opinion that the several items of expenditures for said fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1984, end ending September 30, 1985, are reasonable,
necessary end proper for the administration of the affairs of said City end
the proper conduct of said City.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACi'ED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said budget of revenues end expenditures of said
City of Senford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1984, and
ending September 30, 1985, approved by Resolution of the City Ccmmission of
the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 24th day of September, A. D., 1984,
a COpy of which is attached hareto end hereby made a part of this Ordinance,
be and the same is hereby ratified, confirmed, accepted and adopted.
SECTION 2: That the said estimates of empenditures, be and they
are hareby established end fixed as appropriations from the revenues to be
derived by said City of Sanford, Florida, frc~a taxes to be levied end
collected, frcm all other sources, for the various purposes as set forth
in said estimates for the said period beginning October 1, 1984, and ending
September 30, 1985.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this
Ord/nance proves to be invalid, ~lawful or mconstitutional, it shall not be
b~ld to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinsnces in conflict
harewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That the effective date of this Ordinance shall be
October 1, 1984.

ford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 1718, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 24th day of September, 1984, was POSTED at the front
door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 26th day of September, 1984.
RESOLL~ION NO. 1380
A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET OF REVENUES
AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1984, AND
M~DING SEPTEMBER 30, 1985, AND CAPITAL BUDGET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article VI of the Charter, as amended,
of the City of Sanford, Florida, the City Manager of the City of Sanford,
Florida, has made and submitted to the City C~,~ssion of the City of Sanford,
Florida, an estimate for budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of
Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1984, and ending
September 30, 1985, and a Capital budget, such estimates or budget having
been made with particular application to the various departments of the City,
a true copy of which is hereto attached and by reference made a part of this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, each and every item contained and set forth in said
budgets prepared by the City Manager has been carefully considered by this
Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY (DMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, that said budget, as prepared and submitted by
the City Manager to the City Commission, be and the same is hereby adopted
as the budget for the City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1984, end ending September 30, 1985; and the Capital budget as
prepared and submitted by the City Manager to the City Ccmmission, be and
the s~ne is hereby adopted.
BE IT FLIRTHER RESOLVED that, upon collection of any revenues of
said City, the City Clerk shall allocate frem each dollar collected and
received, the several amounts to the respective Eunds for purposes for which
the same are hereby authorized and approved.
BE IT FLIRTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shell become
effective as of the first day of October, 1984.
