ORDINANCE NO. 1715
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT CE~'EZ~IN
NORTH-SOUTH ~T,T,Ry LYING BETWheN PARK AVENUE
AND MAGNOLIA AV~qUE AND BEI~n~N 26TH STR~EI'
AND 25TH PLACE; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND n~'FhCTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property abutting that
certain North-South alley lying between Park Avenue and Magnolia Avenue
and between 26th Street and 25th Place, applied to the City of Sanford,
Florida, their application to have said property closed, vacated and
akklndoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 27, 1984, for
consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating
and abandoning of that certain portion should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission b~s deteunined that the closing,
vacating, and abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with
the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public
health, economy, ccmfort, order, convenience and welfare will he promoted
by such closing, vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTS3 BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That certain North-South alley lying between Park
Avenue and Magnolia Avenue and between 26th Street and 25th Place, more
particularly described as follows:
That certain North-South alley lying between
Lots 225 through 236, Frank L. Woodruff's
Subdivision of Lands, according to the Plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 44
of the Public Records of Seminole CoLtory, Florida.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not
be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.

SECTION 3: ~hat all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall beccFae effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
