HomeMy WebLinkAbout1509 ORDINANCE NO. 1509 AN ORDINAj]CE OF THE CITY OF S.~]FORD, FLORIDA, ~MENDING OP~I~CE NO, 1097 OF SAID CITY, SAID OiDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID ~ND~NT CHANGING THE ZONING OF Tt~T PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BET~EN PAL- ~TTO AVENUE AND MAGNOLIA AVZNUE AND BETI~EN EAST 25TH STREET (GENEVA AVENUE) AND EAST 25TH PLACE FROM RC-1 (IESTRiCTED CO;~MERCIAL) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COmmeRCIAL) DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR SEVEP~BIL!TY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF ~{E CITY OF SANFO~D, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows: Lot A, Less the South 40 feet, Frank L. Woodruff's Subdivision, Plat Book 3, page 44, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida be and the same is hereby rezoned from RC-1 (~estricted Commercial) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District. SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the s~me are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
