AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF THAT PORTION
OF PROPERTY LYING EAST OF AND ABUTTING U. S.
HIGHWAY 17-92 (SR 15 & 600), AND BETWEEN AIRPORT
BOULEVARD AND THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF LAKE MARY
BOULEVARD FROM SR-2 (MOBILE HOME RESIDENTIAL
DWELLING) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed and adopted Ordinance
No. 1495 on November 26, 1979 which said Ordinance changed the
zoning of certain real property described in said Ordinance from
SR-2 (Mobile Home Residential Dwelling) District to GC-2
(General Commerical) District, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there was a scrivener's
error in the legal description used in the public notice and in the
Ordinance, and in order to correct said error it is necessary to
have an Amended Ordinance passed to reflect the correct legal
description.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of Sanford,
Florida passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said Ordinance
being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford,
Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of build-
ings, structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence
or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Beginning 1166.48 feet South of the East ~
Section Post, run North 72°43' West 1307.2 feet,
North 25%°East 411.5 feet, South 71o40' East
1133 feet, South 450.17 feet to the Point of
Beginning° Section 11, Township 20 South, Range
30 East.

(Mobile Home Residential Dwelling) District to
GC-2 (General CommerCial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Amended Ordinance amends the legal des-
cription contained in the original Ordinance which was passed
and adopted on November 26, 1979 and this Amended Ordinance is
hereby declared to be effective as of November 26, 1979.
