AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FROM THE ANTICIPATED REVENUES TO BE
RECEIVED FROM THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DURING THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1978 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1979, PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted
a proposed budget of anticipated revenues and suggested appropri-
ations relative to anticipated revenue to be received from the
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund of the United States of America during
the fiscal year which begins October 1, 1978 and ends September 30,
1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, are of the opinion that the several items of recormnended
expenditures for said fiscal year are reasonable, necessary and
proper for the administration of the affairs of the City of Sanford;
and
WHEREAS, appropriate public hearings have been held for
consideration of the proposed budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget of anticipated
revenues and appropriations to be received from the Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund of the United States of America during the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979, be and the
same is hereby ratified, approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted;
that a copy of the proposed budget is attached hereto and hereby
made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: That allordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herew~h be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
