zoning. wiring. and special applications. Copies of this
manual are available at no charge from System Sensor. (For
installation in Canada. refer to CAN/ULC'S524•M9I. Stan•
dard for the Instaffntfon o/ Fire Alarm Systems, and CF.0
Part 1. sec. 32.)
NCTiCF.: This manual should be left with the owner/user
of this equipment.
IMPORTANT` This detector must be tested and maintained
regularly following NFPA 72 requirements. The detector
should be cleaned at least once a year.
General Deserlptlon
Model 21011(A) is a 2-wire pholoelectronic smoke detector
that uses a state-of•the•att optical sensing chamber. This
detector Is designed to provide open area protection and to
be used with compatible UL•listed panels only. Model
210OT(A) features a restnrable, built-in, fixed- tern peril' tire
135*F) thermal defeclnr.
Installation of these detectors is simplified by file use of a
mounting bracket and a plug-in screw ferrninal block that
can be prewired to the system, allowing the detractor to be
easily installed or removed for cleaning. The detecfor's sen-
slnvily can be tesled in place using the M0040OR Tell
Module. An LED e+n the detector provides a local visual in•
dicatlon of the detector's statue. If pr,wer Is applied to the
detector, and 1f is functloning normally in slandhy, the sea'
fits LED blinks every ten seconds. 'The LED alto latches on
in alarm.
Models 2100(A) and 210OT(A) feature a visual inclicanr.I'
11W maintenance is required - it the sensing chafbher drifts
out of Its sensitivity limits, the 1 Fr) ceases to blink
v
The defectors also include an output that hllows an
optional Model RA4007,(A) Remote Annunciator 1e) be
connected.

Comment: Fire alarm system for living units is required by LSC 101 ch. 18-3.4
Fire alarm contractor must provide a letter from the electrical engineer of record
stating that the fire alarm "shop drawings" substantially comply with the engineered
page of the construction drawings.
Applicant also stipulates the May 9, 1999 conversation with SFD that:
the dBA level is to be 70 at each sleeping area pillow (6-3.5);
there is to be one FACP per building;
at least one manual pull station on each level.
Any equipment located outside (wet location by definition NEC) must be listed for
that installation or protected according to mfg. specifications.

Re: Plantation Lakes Form Board Survey - Building 8
Dear Roberto:
This letter is to certify that on March 20, 2000, Sears Surveying Company performed a
field survey on the form boards for building 8. The constructed form location appears to
be in compliance to the Civil Design plans that were prepared by Burkett Engineering for
the Plantation Lakes Apartments. The top of form elevation for the upper level of
building 8 is 62.28 (plan grade is 62.25), and the lower level of building 8 is 60.26 (plan
grade is 60.25).
Respectfully submitted,
