Pursuant your inquiry on Monday, August 2, 2004, regarding whether zoning could sign -off on building plans
submitted for interior remodeling at 2280 Old Lake Mary Road for a fire sprinkler office, I inspected the site on
Tuesday, August 3, 2004 and observed the following:
Pending compliance with all applicable building, fire and life safety and utility requirements and provided all fees,
penalties and permits are obtained, this office has no objection to a fire sprinkler office being established at 2280
Old Lake Mary Road with in the next six (6) months subject to the following conditions and stipulations:
The site shall comply with all requirements of the Site Plan approved in October 1982;
Handicap parking shall be provided and signed and marked in accordance with Sanford's Land
Development Regulations (LDR) and City Ordinance #3211;
All parking spaces shall have individual wheel stops installed;
Stop sign and stop bar shall be provided at driveway entrance;
Landscaping shall be restored and replaced per approved Site Plan and per Schedule J, LDR;
Street address shall be posted on the building in accordance with E-911 standards;
Two existing "Property for lease" signs shall be removed from the Right-of-way;
Location(s) for a dumpster with an enclosure shall be approved by the Public Works Department;
It is recommended that a current survey of the property be provided to the City of Sanford;
An occupational license shall be obtained for any business operating in the building.
