HVAC GENERAL NOTES:
Furnish all labor, material, services and equipment to in,,
as per the designed drawing and as outlined in the specifi

1. Entire system and all equipment shall meet all state, county and local codes in
every respect.
2. Unless otherwise noted, all equipment shall be n0\4 and o' the best condition
and free of defects as shown on drawings and indicated in the specifications.
3. All systems shall be fabricated and installed in a ric at professional manner
with the coordination of all trades to avoid interfer nce and delays due to lack
of coordination.
4. All dimensions are inside net Free air.
5. Install thermostat 48" above finished floor.
6. Mechanical contractor shall obtain all permits and ay all fees required .
7. All air handler units shall have fire stats arid /or sm ke detectors for automatic
shut down and coordinated with NEPA.
8. Fresh air should be introduced to each system per plans.
9. All duct boards, ducts, and duct stands shall be seallf d. with glass
fabrication and mastic.
10. All duct work shall be supplied in strict complianc with SMACNA
guidelines.

Duct wot-k notes
1. All duct work shall be as follows:
a. Supply trunk lines will be 1 1/2" fiberglass duct bo
b. Rettu•tts 1 1/2" fiberglass duct board R-6.0.
c. Flex duct is to be foil flex with R value 6.0.
d. Exhaust duct to be t -fin aluminum metal.
e. Splitter dampers are indicated on drawings in bran(
f. Assemble, install and seal duct work in accordanc,
construction standards.
g. Make joints for duet wrap and duct board with gla.,
to 30 mil dry film thickness. RCD # 9
h. All ducts are clear inside dimensions.
i. Plans are diagrammatic.
