Re: Roofing of residence located at 1808 Chase Ave. in Sanford.
E.H. Engelmeier Roofing & Sheet Metal Company Inc. Will:
A) Remove existing roofing down to deck. Inspect deck nail pattern per code.
Re- nailing of deck if necessary will be done on a time. & material basis as listed
in wood section below. Average cost to re -nail deck is around $300.00
B) Furnish and install with simplex nails, one layer #43 base. Install, with hot asphalt,
three plies type four fiberglass felt. Flood with hot asphalt and embed river gravel.
C) Includes:
1. New 26 gage painted gravel stop (white).
2. New lead vent stack covers and painted galvanized 10"goose neck vent.
New wall flashing.
4. Remove old chimney and board up hole at roof line.
D) Furnish permits, licenses, workman's compensation and liability insurance.
E) Issue a Five year limited warranty on workmanship as per sample on the reverse side.
F) Commence above listed work for the base price of ............ $9,763.00
Per city of Sanford Building Department: It is ok to use En rucks to
remove roofing trash as long as they are lettered and insured.
Wood andlor deck repair to be replaced on a time and materials basis, labor $45.00 per man hour added to
the base price of the contract. Price is contingent upon truck access to the building.. Please be aware that
heavy loads on trucks are necessary to deliver and remove materials to your job. Due to unknown
conditions of drives and walkways, E.H. Engelmeier Roofing will not assume liability or responsibility for
damage to same, which may occur, caused by our delivery or roofing trucks. Due to insurance risk, owner
and/or owner representatives, agree to remain off of theroof during construction period unless permission is
given by an officer of Engelmeier Roofing. Owner to be responsible for mold or spore liability claims. Payment
to be made in prorated draws with final payment due on completion of contracted work. The conditions
on the reverse side are included in this proposal. To accept the terms of this proposal, please sign
below and return the yellow copy. This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not r turned signed in thirty
days from date at the top of page. 126-
