ORDINANCE NO. 1313
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANE~NG TO AND INCLUDING WIT~N THE CORPO~TE
AEA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, T~T CERTAIN
PROPERTY ON SANFORD AVENUE AND BET~EN SANFORD
AVENUE AND PALMWAY AND BETWEEN POINSETTIA D~VE
AND R~E DRIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF CHAPTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLORIDA, 1973, AND
FURTER IN ACCORDANCE ~TH THE PROVISIONS OF
CHAPTER 74-190, LAWS OF FLO~DA, 1974.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sa~ord, Florida. a petition containing the names of the prope~y owners in
the area described hereinafter requesting amexalion to the corporate area of
the City of Sanfo~d, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; ~d
WHEREAS, the Prope~y Appraiser of Seminole County, Florida,
having certified that there are two prope~y owners in the area to be annexed
and that said prope~y owners have signed the petition for annexation, and
~EREAS, the City Commission on the llth day of August
1975, adopted Ordinance No. 1303 , which said Ordinance declared the
intention of the City Commission to annex to and make a pa~ of the City of
Sanford, Florida, the real property hereinafter described said Ordinance having
been adopted in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 74-190, Laws of
Flo~da, 1974~ and
WHEEAS, the Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida, has caused
to be published the Ordinance declaring the intention to annex once a week for
four consecutive weeks in the Evening Herald newspa~r, ~d
~EREAS, there have been no objections filed as to the proposed
a~exation within the thi~y day period set fo~h in Chapter 74-190, Laws of
Florida, 1974, and

WHEREAS, the annexat[on petit[on as consadered a voluntary
annexation and the City Commission is of the opinion that the annexation of
the property described here in wall fulfill all of the requirements of Chapter
74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974, and the City Commission of the City of
Sanford, Florada, deems it in the best interest of the City to annex said
property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County,
Florada, described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and
made a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of
Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florada, 1973, and further pursuant to the terms
and provisaons of Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florada, 1974:
Lot 3, Block 2, FLORA HEIGHTS, accordang to the Plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 19, Public Records
of Seminole County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That upon thas ordinance becoming effectWe,
the resadents and property owners in the area here in described shall be
entitled to all the raghts and pravileges and immunities as are from time
to time granted to resadents and property owners of the City of Sanford,
Florada, and as are further provaded in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida,
1973, and an Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florada, 1974, and shall further be
subject to the respons[b[lat[es of residence or ownership as may from time
to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provas[ons of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973,
and Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974.
SECTION 3. Thai this ordinance shall become effective
lmmedialely upon its passage and adoption.

do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Ordi-
nance No. 1313, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City
of Sanford, Florida, on the 22nd day of September, 1975, was POSTED
at the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida,
on the 23rd day of September, 1975.
