1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO ANY WORK AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL WORK AND MATERIALS INCLUDING THOSE FURNISHED BY SUBCONTRACTORS AND OWNER. CONTRACTOR
SHALL ACCEPT PREMISES AS FOUND. OWNER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONDITION OF THE EXISTING SITE OR EXISTING STRUCTURES AT THE TIME OF BIDDING OR THEREAFTER.
2. DIMENSIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER DRAWINGS; 00 NOT SCALE DRAWINGS TO DETERMINE ANY LOCATIONS. THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE NOTIFIED IF ANY DISCREPANCY OCCURS PRIOR TO CONTINUING WITH WORK.
3. ALL PLAN DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FACE OF STUD TO FACE OF STUD UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
AUTHORITIES.
4. ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES AND LOCAL RESTRICTIONS. THE CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH THE. CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS OF ALL GOVERNINGA 1H
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPORT TO THE ARCHITECT ANY ERRORS, INCONSISTENCIES, OR OMISSIONS HE MAY DISCOVER. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTING ANY ERRORS AFTER THE START OF CONSTRUCTION WHICH HAVE
NOT BEEN BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT. THE MEANS OF CORRECTING ANY ERROR SHALL FIRST BE APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECT AND OWNER.
6. THE GENERAL BUILDING PERMITS SHALL BE PAID FOR BY THE OWNER. ALL OTHER PERMITS SHALL BE SECURED AND PAID FOR BY THE SUBCONTRACTOR DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE. ALL REQUIRED CITY, COUNTY AND/OR STATE LICENSES SHALL
BE ACQUIRED AND PAID FOR BY THE INDIVIDUAL SUBCONTRACTOR.
7. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO LOCATE ALL EXISTING UTILITIES WHETHER SHOWN HEREIN OR NOT AND TO PROTECT THEM FROM DAMAGE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BEAR ALL EXPENSE OF REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF UTILITIES OR OTHER PROPERTY DAMAGED BY OPERATIONS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROSECUTION OF THE WORK.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATIONS OF ALL FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT AND COORDINATE LOCATION OF FLOOR SINKS, FLOOR DRAINS, SLOPES/SLAB DEPRESSIONS AND RAISED CURBS, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING STUB OUTS, AND
ALL OTHER WORK UNDER THIS SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY RELATED TO THIS EQUIPMENT. REFER TO DRAWINGS PREPARED BY FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT CONSULTANT FOR ALL FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT REFERENCES.
9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMPLETE SECURITY OF THE SITE WHILE JOB IS IN PROGRESS AND UNTIL JOB IS COMPLETED.
10. ALL DEBRIS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM PREMISES AND ALL AREAS SHALL BE LEFT IN A CLEAN (BROOM) CONDITION AT ALL TIMES.
11. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE OCCUPANTS AND WORKERS AT ALL TIMES.
12. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY WATER, POWER AND TOILET FACILITIES AS REQUIRED.
13. CITY APPROVED PLANS SHALL BE KEPT IN A PLAN BOX AND SHALL NOT BE USED BY WORKMEN. ALL CONSTRUCTION SETS SHALL REFLECT SAME INFORMATION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO MAINTAIN, IN GOOD CONDITION, ONE COMPLETE
SET OF PLANS WITH ALL REVISIONS, ADDENDUMS AND CHANGE ORDERS ON THE PREMISES AT ALL TIMES. THESE ARE TO BE KEPT UNDER THE CARE OF THE JOB SUPERINTENDENT.

15. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND SHALL REPLACE OR REMEDY ANY FAULTY, IMPROPER OR INFERIOR MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP WHICH SHALL APPEAR WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR OR AS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED FOR
A SPECIFIC COMPONENT AFTER THE COMPLETION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT.
16. CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER AND CONFORM TO ALL RECOMMENDATIONS AND FINDINGS AS SET FORTH IN SOILS GEOLOGICAL REPORT. THE OWNER AND/OR ARCHITECT ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE FINDINGS OR
FOR THE FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS. GRADING, TRENCHING, ETC., CONTACT OWNER FOR INSTRUCTIONS PROPER TO THE CONTINUATION OF WORK SHOULD ANY UNUSUAL CONDITIONS BECOME APPARENT DURING GRADING OR FOUNDATION
CONSTRUCTION. EXISTING ELEVATIONS AND LOCATIONS TO BE JOINED SHALL BE VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR BEFORE CONSTRUCTION. IF THEY DIFFER FROM THOSE SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER SO
THAT MODIFICATIONS CAN BE MADE BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK,
17. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE ERECTION PROCEDURE AND SEQUENCE TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF THE BUILDING AND ITS COMPONENT PARTS DURING ERECTION.
18, GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO REFER TO THESE DOCUMENTS AS WELL AS SPECIFICATIONS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF ALL OWNER SUPPLIED ITEMS. ALL ITEMS NOT MARKED AS "OWNER SUPPLIED" ARE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE GENERAL
CONTRACTOR. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL ITEMS ARE TO BE INSTALLED BY GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
19. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO UMBEL ALL ELECTRICAL PANELS, SOUND EQUIPMENT, PLUMBING VALVES, AND ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT. PLASTIC PHENOLIC ENGRAVED PLAT SCREWED ON.
20. DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN PORTIONS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE NOT INTENDED. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO CLARIFY WITH THE ARCHITECT AND OWNER ANY SUCH DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
21. ALL ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF LEGALLY CONSTITUTED AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION.
22. THE ARCHITECT AND/OR OWNER WILL REVIEW SHOP DRAWINGS AND SAMPLES FOR CONFORMANCE WITH DESIGN CONCEPT OF THE PROJECT. THE OWNER AND/OR ARCHITECT'S APPROVAL OF A SEPARATE ITEM SHALL NOT INDICATE APPROVA
OF AN ASSEMBLY IN WHICH THE ITEM FUNCTIONS.
23. DECORATIVE MATERIALS, WALL HANGINGS, ETC., SHALL BE NON- FLAMMABLE OR FLAMEPROOF PER STATE FIRE MARSHALL REQUIREMENTS.
24. MINIMUM FLAME SPREAD CLASSIFICATION OF INTERIOR FINISH SHALL CONFORM TO THE BUILDING CODE AND LOCAL GOVERNING BUILDING CODES/ORDINANCES.
25. GYPSUM WALLBOARD AND SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEMS SHALL CONFORM TO THE BUILDING CODE AND LOCAL GOVERNING CODES/ORDINANCES.
26. THE INTENT OF THESE DRAWINGS IS TO INDICATE THE SCOPE OF WORK REQUIRED IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE AND FINISHED SPACE READY FOR TENANT OCCUPANCY. THE CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTORS ARE EXPECTED
TO VISIT THE PROJECT SITE PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT- PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION - OF ANY DISCREPANCIES WITHIN THE DRAWINGS OR POSSIBLE CONFLICTS WHICH AFFECT THE PROGRESS OF THIS PROJECT.
27. PIPES AND DUCTS EXCEEDING ONE THIRD THE SLAB OR WALL THICKNESS SHALL NOT BE PLACED IN STRUCTURAL CONCRETE UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DETAILED. SEE MECHANICAL AND/OR ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS FOR LOCATION OF SLEEVES,
ACCESSORIES, ETC.
'28. PROVIDE RODENT PROOF WEATHER-STRIPPING AT THE BOTTOM OF ALL EXTERIOR DOORS.
29. ALL MATERIAL REMOVED BY DEMOLITION ARE TO BE DISPOSED OF BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR OFF THE PROJECT SITE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL RESTRICTIONS,
30. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO SUPPLY AND INSTALL LAMPS IN ALL LIGHT FIXTURES.
31. COORDINATE ALL ROOF PENETRATIONS WITH BUILDING OWNER AND ALL TRADES PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.
32. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS TO ASSURE THAT NO REBAR OR REINFORCEMENT IS PRESENT PRIOR TO CORE DRILLING OR PLACING BOLTS OR ANY OTHER ITEM WHICH COULD DISTURB THE STRUCTURAL SLAB.
