Acceptance of permit is verification that I will notify the owner of the property of the requirements of Florida Lien Law, FS 713.
The City of Sanford requires payment of a plan review fee at the time of permit submittal. A copy of the executed contract is required
in order to calculate a plan review charge and will be considered the estimated construction value of the job at the time of submittal.
The actual construction value will be figured based on the current ICC Valuation Table in effect at the time the permit is issued, in
accordance with local ordinance. Should calculated charges figured off the executed contract exceed the actual construction value,
credit will be applied to your permit fees when the permit is issued.

6_5 Titanium 2-Ply System:
6.5.1 The Titanium System consists of a base layer of Titanium UDL-PLUS or UDL-30 (top -surface primed or inverted)
mechanically attached to the wood roof deck followed by Titanium PSU-30, self -adhered.
6.5.2 Non -Tile Applications:
Install Titanium UDL-25 PLUS or UDL-30 (top surface primed or inverted) in accordance with Sections 6.3.1 through
6.3.3 followed by Titanium PSU-30 in accordance with Section 6.4.
6.5.3 Tile Applications:
Reference is made to FRSA/TRI April 2012 (04-12) Installation Manual and Table 1 herein, using the instructions noted
above as a guideline.
For mechanically fastened tile roofing, refer to Interwrap published installation instructions, but not less than FRSA/TRI
April 2012 (04-12), Table 1.
For adhesive -set tile roofing, refer to Section 5.6.3 herein.
Wait a minimum of 24 hours prior to loading roof tiles. Tiles shall be staged so as to avoid slippage and/or damage to
the roof underlayment.
The use of sealant or mastic at tile fastener penetrations is required for all tile roofing installations. Contact Interwrap
for approved sealant or mastic types.
7. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
As required by the Building Official or Authority Having Jurisdiction in order to properly evaluate the installation of this product.

6. INSTALLATION:
6.1 Titanium Roof Underlayments shall be installed in accordance with Interwrap published installation requirements
subject to the Limitations set forth in Section 5 herein and the specifics noted below.
6.2 Re -fasten any loose decking panels, and check for protruding nail heads. Sweep the substrate thoroughly to remove
any dust and debris prior to application, and prime the substrate (if applicable).
6_3 TitaniumTM UDL-25, UDL-25 PLUS, UDL-30, UDL-50, UDL-TT. UDL-TF and (Private Labeled) UDL-TTMC3O0:
6.3.1 Install in compliance with manufacturer's published installation instructions and the requirements for ASTM D226, Type
I and II underlayments in FBC Sections 1507 for the type of prepared roof covering to be installed.
6.3.2 Fasteners:
Mechanical attachment of Titanium UDL-25, UDL-25 PLUS and UDL-30 is limited to ring shank roofing nails with
minimum 1-inch diameter plastic caps.
Mechanical attachment of UDL-50, UDL-TT, UDL-TF and (Private Labeled) UDL-TTMC300 is limited to ring shank roofing
nails with minimum 3/8-inch diameter heads; ring shank roofing nails with minimum 1-inch diameter plastic caps;
screws and plates; or plastic cap staples.
6.3.3 Slopes of 4:12 or greater:
End (vertical) laps shall be minimum 6-inches and side (horizontal) laps shall be minimum 4-inches.
Minimum attachment shall be 12-inches o.c. vertically and 24-inches o.c. horizontally in accordance with the surface
markings on the exposed face of the underlayment. When batten systems are to be installed atop the underlayment,
the underlayment need only be preliminarily attached pending attachment of the battens.
6.3.4 Slopes of 2:12 to less than 4:12:
Double layer application; begin by fastening a 25-inch wide strip along the eaves. Place a full -width sheet over the
starter, completely overlapping the starter course. Continue as noted in 6.3.3, but maintaining minimum 25-inch side
horizontal) laps, resulting in a double -layer application.
6.4 TitaniumTM' PSU-30:
6.4.1 Install in compliance with manufacturer's published installation instructions and the requirements for ASTM D1970
underlayments in FBC Sections 1507 for the type of prepared roof covering to be installed.
6.4.2 Direct -to -Deck with Mechanically Fastened Roof Cover:
Cut manageable sections and re -roll with the release film side out.
Membrane Application:
Peel back release film approximately 1 to 2 feet and align with the lower edge of the roof and set in place, printed
side up.
Apply the balance of the membrane to the substrate by removing the film and firmly pressing the membrane into
place.
Apply subsequent courses parallel to the eave in a shingle -type, water -shedding manner.
End (vertical) laps shall be minimum 12-inches and side (horizontal) laps shall be minimum 3-inches.
If the membrane becomes misaligned, cut the roll and re -start.
Upon completion, inspect the membrane and repair any defects or fish -mouths.
The use of sealant or mastic at tile fastener penetrations is required for all tile roofing installations. Contact Interwrap
for approved sealant or mastic types.
6.4.3 Direct -to -Deck with Adhesive -Set Tile Applications:
Reference is made to FRSA/TRI April 2012 (04-12) Installation Manual and Table 1 and Section 5.6.2 herein, using the
instructions noted above as a guideline.

5.6.3.6 For mechanically attached base sheet in a 2-ply system, the maximum design pressure for the selected assembly shall
meet or exceed the Zone 1 design pressure determined in accordance with FRSA/TRI April 2012 (04-12), Appendix A,
Table 1A or FBC 1609. Zones 2 and 3 shall employ an attachment density designed by a qualified design professional to
resist the elevated pressure criteria. Commonly used methods are RAS 117, FM LPDS 1-29 and ANSI/SPRI WDl.
Assemblies marked with an asterisk* carry the limitations set forth in Section 2.2.1.5.1(a) of FM LPDS 1-29 for Zone 2/3
enhancements
5.7 Exposure Limitations:
Titanium UDL-25, UDL-25 PLUS, UDL-30, UDL-50, UDL-TT or UDL-TF shall not be left exposed for longer than 30-days.
Titanium PSU-30 shall not be left exposed for longer than 90-days.
UDL-TTMC300 not be left exposed for longer than 180-days.

5. LIMITATIONS:
5.1 This is a building code evaluation. Neither TrinityJERD nor Robert Nieminen, P.E. are, in any way, the Designer of
Record for any project on which this Evaluation Report, or previous versions thereof, is/was used for permitting or
design guidance unless retained specifically for that purpose.
5.2 This Evaluation Report is not for use in the HVHZ.
5.3 Fire Classification is not part of this report; refer to current Approved Roofing Materials Directory for fire ratings of this
product.
5.4 Titanium'" Roof Underlayments may be used with any prepared roof cover where the product is specifically referenced
within FBC approval documents. If not listed, a request may be made to the AHJ for approval based on this evaluation
combined with supporting data for the prepared roof covering.

wind uplift resistance of all underlayment systems beneath foam -on tile systems, where the underlayment forms part
of the load -path. The following wind uplift limitations apply to underlayment systems that are not addressed in
FRSA/TRI April 2012 (04-12) and are used in foam -on the applications. Maximum Design Pressure is the result of testing
for wind load resistance based on allowable wind loads, and reflects the ultimate passing pressure divided by 2 (the 2 to
1 margin of safety per FBC 1504.9 has already been applied). Refer to FRSA/TRI April 2012 (04-12), Appendix A, Table 1A
or FBC 1609 for determination of design wind loads.

System Type: Mechanical attachment of ridge vent system over composition shingles.
Cutout:
Installation:
1. Determine whether the rafters are truss or ridgepole
construction. Cut sheathing 2" (truss) or 3-1/2" (ridge
pole) wide slot (1" truss or 1-3/4" ridge pole on each side)
of the ridge(s). A minimum of 6" must be left uncut on
each end of the ridge. Once the slot is cut and any
overlapping shingles covering the ridge are trimmed and
removed, the ridge is ready for vent installation.
2. Place the Vent Sure Ridge Vent or Vent Sure Rigid
Roll vent, routed side down along entire length of slot also
covering the 6" minimum uncut ridge on both ends.
Multiple lengths of vent can be joined by butting them
together.
3. Pull apart a 3" or 5-1/4" precut section of the foam endcap.
Using construction adhesive or sealant caulk, insert the .
endcap into the end of the vent. Using four (4) 2" -
galvanized roofing nails, attach vent. tothe roof deck by
driving a nail in each of the two corners on both ends of the
vent, and a nail, at each side through the foam cap:
4. After vent has been installed, cut ridge shingles, preform,
and nail with roofing nails in a common overlapping,
pattern. Nails should be approximately 5" apart,and long
enough to penetrate the wood roof deck at least %a". Repeat
this procedure until vents have been installed over all roof
ridges.

6.3.1 Installation of Berkshire® Hip and Ridge Shingles, High Ridge, Hip & Ridge with Sealant and
WeatherGuard® HP Hip and Ridge Shingles shall comply with the manufacturer's current
published instructions, using four (4) nails per shingle. Refer to Owens Corning published
information on wind resistance and installation limitations, including the use of hand -sealing for

5.3.1 All Owens Coming shingles noted herein are Classified in accordance with FBC Tables
1507.2.7.1 and R905.2.6.1 to ASTM D3161, Class F and/or ASTM 137158, Class H, indicating
the shingles are acceptable for us in all wind zones up to Vad = 150 mph (VA = 194 mph).
Refer to Section 6 for installation requirements to meet this wind rating.
5.3.2 All Owens Corning hip & ridge shingles and Starter Strip Plus noted herein are Classified in
accordance with FBC Tables 1507.2.7.1 and R905.2.6.1 to ASTM D3161, Class F, indicating the
shingles are acceptable for us in all wind zones up to V,,w = 150 mph (Vint = 194 mph). Refer
to Section 6 for installation requirements to meet this wind rating.
5.3.3 Classification by ASTM D7158 applies to exposure category B or C and a building height of 60
feet or less. Calculations by a qualified design professional are required for conditions outside
these limitations. Contact the shingle manufacturer for data specific to each shingle.
5.3.4 Refer to Owens Coming published information on wind resistance and installation limitations.
5.4 All products in the roof assembly shall have quality assurance audit in accordance with the
Florida Building Code and F.A.C. Rule 9N-3.
6. INSTALLATION:
6.1 Underlayment:
6.1.1 , Underlayment shall be acceptable to Owens Corning and shall hold current Florida Statewide
Product Approval, or be Locally Approved per Rule 9N-3, per FBC Sections 1507.2.3, 1507.2.4
or R905.2.3.
6.2 Asphalt Shingles:
6.2.1 Installation of asphalt shingles shall comply with the manufacturer's- current published
Instructions, using minimum four (4) nails per shingle'in accordance with FBC Sections 1507.2"
or R905.2, with the following exceptions:
Berkshire® shingles require minimum five (5) nails per shingle.
WeatherGuardO HP Shingles require minimum six' (5) nails per shingle.
Starter'Strip Plus requires minimum' five (5) nails per strip.
