The City of Sanford requires payment of a plan review fee at the time of permit submittal. A copy of the executed contract is required
in order to calculate a plan review charge and will be considered the estimated construction value of the job at the time of submittal...
The actual construction value will be figured based on the current ICC Valuation Table in effect at the time the permit is issued, in
accordance with local ordinance. Should calculated charges figured off the executed contract exceed the actual construction value,
credit will be applied to your permit fees when the permit is issued.

Hi Debbie,
Please seethe code enforcement case number referenced above. It all has to do with the same address as permit #16-
2218. The gentlemen hung 12 sheets of drywall in his living room. He removed the old & put up the new, textured it &
painted it and did not get a permit for it. Can we add 12 sheets of drywall to that permit? I told him he would have to
remove the drywall he just installed & finished, we would have to install new drywall so we could get the proper screw
inspection. Please let me know if this will be the remedy to get all his code enforcement issues fixed at one time. (I was
unaware of the drywall until today)

The following is a list of the areas of the submitted plans that contained violations of the codes adopted by
the City of Sanford and enforced by the Building Division. The violations noted must be addressed before
the plans can be approved. Changes to plans shall be submitted on the same size format as the original
submittal. Changes to construction documents that require an Architect or Engineer's seal must be
submitted with the appropriate seal. Provide two copies of affected plan sheets and/or supplemental
information as requested. Provide two copies of affected plan sheets and/or supplemental information as

the Door that will be installed.

Section I: General Description of the Products and Systems under this Certification
1.1 Frame: The frame jambs consist of wood with all corners coped and
butted. The head/jamb corners were fastened with three (4) 16 ga 7/16"
crown x 2" long staples per corner. The threshold was attached to the side
J ambs with three.(3) 16 ga 7/16" x 2" long wire staples and (2) #8 2-1/2"
long screws at each end.
1.2 Door Panel/Sidelite Construction: Each door panel was constructed from
two (2) face sheets of 24 gauge (0.021" minimum) galvanized steel and an
internal expanded polystyrene foam core.
1.3 Sidelite Glazing: The overall insulated glass unit was comprised of two
2)1/8" sheets of clear tempered glass.

GENERAL NOTES:
1. This product has been evaluated and is in compliance with the 5th Edition (2014) Florida
Building Code (FBC) structural requirements excluding the "High Velocity Hurricane Zone".
2. When used in areas requiring wind borne debris protection, this product complies with
Section 1609.1.2 of the FBC and does not require an impact resistant covering. This product
meets missile level "D" and includes Wind Zone 4 as defined in ASTM El 996 and FBC Section
1609.1.2.2.
3. Wood bucks by others, must be anchored property to transfer loads to the structure and
be reviewed by the Building Official.
4. Mullion anchor embedment to base material shall be beyond wall dressing or stucco.
5. Separate product approvals for each glazing product used with these mullions must be
submitted along with this mullion product approval.
6. Anchoring of each glazing product to the mullion shall be as shown In each Individual
glazing product approval.
7. Any conditions not covered in this evaluation are subject to separate engineering
evaluation.
8. Mullion design pressure rating, see bad rating table sheets 2 and 3 of this drawing.
9. The design pressure rating of the assembly shack be the lesser of the bad capacity of the
mullion as determined using this approval or the design pressure rating of the individual
glazing products used.
