ORDINANCE NO. 1285
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE
AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THAT
PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN PEAR AVENUE AND PEACH
AVENUE AND BETWEEN.EIGHTEENTH STREET AND NINE-
TEENTH STREET tN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF CHAPTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLORIDA, 1973, AND
FURTHER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
CHAPTER 74-190, LAWS OF FLORIDA, 1974.
WHEREAS= there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the names of the property owners in
the area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate area of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, having
certified that there are two property owners in ~he area to be annexed and that
said property owners have signed the petition for annexation, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission on February 10, 1975, adopted
Ordinance No. 1277, which said Ordinance declared the intention of the City
Commission to annex to and make a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, the
real property hereinafter described, said Ordinance having been adopted in
accordance with the requirements of Chapter 74~190, Laws of Florida, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida, has caused
to be published the Ordinance declaring the intention to annex once a week for
four consecutive weeks in the Evening Herald newspaper, and
WHEREAS= there have been no objections filed as to the proposed
annexation within the thirty day period set forth in Chapter 74-190, Laws of
Florida, 1974, and

WHEREAS, the annexation petition is considered a voluntary
annexation and the City Commission is of the opinion that the annexation of
the property described herein will fulfill all of the requirements of Chapter
74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974, and the City Commission of the City of
Sanfordo Florida, deems it in the best interest of the City to annex said
property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of
the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 73-620, Laws of
Florida, 1973, and further pursuant to the terms and provisions of Chapter
74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974;
Lots 3 and 4, Block 90 PINE LEVEL SUBDIVISION°
according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6,
Page 37, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and property owners in the area herein described shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to time
granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and
as are further provided in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973, and in
Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974, and shall further be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to time be
determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanfordo Florida, and
the provisions of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973, and Chapter
74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974.
