Dcar Mr. Fernbaugh: May -3-05 11:18AM; 1407-389-1402 July 10, 2003 sizes 7'0"wide by 5'8" tall, 1 have performed an installation fastener analysis for your Ot 02 Horizontal Sliding Window installed to masonry block walls. The window size considered were a TO"wide by 5'8" tall (DP - 30 PSE), a 60" wide by 4' 8" tall (DP = 4 PSF) and a 6' 0" wide by 4'0" tall (Dr = 40 PSF). The design wind pressure for these windows was determined by the testing documented in ATT Test Report 01-43162.02, My analysis assumed using 3/16" diameter Tapcon anchors 'tit a minirntun embedment of 1-1/4". To safely resist the design wind pressure, 9 such a ichors are required. At installation, use three anchors in each jamb: one near the top md bottom corners and one near the mid span, and three anchors in the head: one neat e h comer and one near the meeting rail.
