The existing and proposed antennas, transmission lines, and other mounting hardware are shown in the following tables. The tower has been modeled with a three-dimensional structural analysis computer program. The general analysis procedures utilized were those. provided by the wind load requirements of Section 1606 of the 2004 Florida Building Code. Section 1606.1.1, Exception 7 permits the use of TIA/EIA-222 (Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures) and.. requires a minimum wind load in accordance with ASCE 7. Figure 6-1 of ASCE 7 requires a 3 -second gust wind speed of 120 mph. FBC requires an Exposure 'C' and Importance Factor of 1.0. Section 16 of the TIA/EIA-222 standard ((Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures) requires a fastest mile wind speed of 100 mph (Equivalent to 120 mph 3 -second wind gust) for Seminole County. The controlling wind loads in this analysis were derived from ASCE 7 with a 3 -second wind speed of 120 mph with no radial ice. ANALYSIS CRITERIA This tower is designed using the TIA/EIA-222-F standard. Analysis Methods RISATower (Version 4.0.0.0), a commercially available software program, was used to create a three- dimensional model of the tower,and calculate member stresses for various dead, live, wind, and ice load cases. All loads were computed in accordance with the ANSI/EIA/TIA 222F or the local building code requirements. Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. Assumptions 1. Tower and structures were built in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. 2. The tower and structures have been maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. 3. The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as specified in Tables 1 and 2. 4. When applicable, transmission cables are considered to be structural components for calculating wind loads, as allowed by TIA/EIA-222F. If any of these assumptions are not valid or have been made in error, this analysis may be affected, and PSG Engineering should be allowed to review any new information to determine its effect on the structural integrity of the tower.
