Dear Building Official:
I have conducted a site visitation of the referenced residential property damaged by a
vehicle. The front corner of the front porch had been dislocated, the damage extending to
the front corner of the structure. With the exception of the support column, the damage is
primarily cosmetic, and constitutes a Level 2 Alteration. Accordingly, it is the
undersigned's professional opinion that the structure can be restored to its original
condition. It is recommended, however, that a new column support footing be
constructed to support the damaged front column. This footing pad should be 24" x 24" x
12" with 3 - #5's, each way.
