From these analyses, a Maximum Storm Panel Span vs. Design Load (PSF) Schedule was prepared for the 24 Gauge Galvanized Steel Storm Panels. An Anchor Spacing (Inches) vs. Design Load (PSF) Schedule was also prepared, indicating maximum anchor spacing for given span conditions at specific design loads (PSF) for each type of anchor used during testing. No increase in allowable stress has been used in the design of this product. The 24 Gauge Galvanized Steel Storm Panels System satisfactorily passed the large missile impact testing, in accordance with the Non -Porous requirements of ASTM E 1996. These storm panels may be used to protect. glazed openings from windborne debris when installed in accordance with the limitations indicated in the reference Drawing No. 05-505. OOZE These Storm Panel Systems have been designed to resist design load pressures (PSF) as indicated by the Storm Panel Span Schedule, page 2 of 4 of the reference Drawing No. 05-505. 'R+ The maximum anchor spacing for each type of anchor, storm panel length and design load (PSF) is found in the Anchor Schedule on page 4 of 4 of the reference Drawing No. 05-505. These Storm Panel Systems are to be installed in accordance with the typical details, general notes, schedules and material specifications found in the reference Drawing No. 05-505.
