SUMMARY
The new asphalt membrane roof installed on the subject single family
residence/professional office was visually inspected and evaluated on August le, 2007.
A small low slope roof approx. 1%:12 pitch was covered with asphalt membrane torched down
(25'x 50'). My evaluation determined that the dry -in, flashing and underlayment were
preformed properly on the subject property. Based upon that examination I have
determined the installation was done according to the 2004 Florida Building Code and 2006
Revisions in effect i n S e m i n o I e County & City of Sanford as of this date.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The repair and restoration of this roof structure is believed to been in accordance the
requirements of the FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 2004 and 2006 Supplements:
Basic Wind Speed: (3 Second Gust) 120 -MPH
Building Category I, Enclosed
Importance Factor 1.00 Wind Exposure B
Internal Pressure Coefficient: +/- 0.18
Design Pressure (Worst Case Condition):
Components & Cladding +25.9 PSF -34.7 PSF
Live loads per FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 2004, Chapter XVI employed in the design,
of this structure are as follows:
