the edge of the deck to the pool shell equals or exceeds 6 ft.
4. Concrete screws shall be of sufficient length to allow 1-3/4"
min. embedment into concrete slab for pavers.
5. Concrete screw anchor designs are based on Rawl Tapper
technical data with an ultimate tension capacity of 2045 Ib.
6. Minix; iurn 28 -day concrete strength shall be 2500 psi. Minimum Grade 40 reinforcement.
7. Minimum slab reinforcement is 6x6 welded wire fabric or synthetic fiber reinforcement.
8. The building department may require a thicker slab edge for erosion.

PURLIN -TO - COLUMN CONNECTION
1. Design conforms to 2004 Florida Building Code for Basic
Wind Speed (3 -second gust) = 120mph, Exposure B.
2. Design Loads: Roof = 10 psf, Wall = 12 psf with Importance
Factor = 0.77 in accordance with Table 2002.4 of 2004 FBC.
3. All structural aluminum shall be 6063-T6.
4. In accordance with Section 2002.3 of 2004 FBC., structural
aluminum shall have a minimum thickness of 0.040 inches
and screen density shall be a maximum of 20 x 20 mesh.
5. For free-standing structures, see Optional Page 7 for
additional requirements.
6. Site specific engineering shall be required if roof height
exceeds 30 feet.
7. The contractor/owner shall verify that existing host structure
is capable of carrying design loads.
8. For # 12 screw, the minimum center -to -center spacing shall
be 5/8" and minimum center -to -edge distance shall be 1/2"
unless noted otherwise.
9. Self -Mating Beams shall be stitched with #10 x 3/4" SMS at
24" o.c. (max).
