E Open burning requirements Any open burning in Seminole County must comply with Florida Administrative Code 624%, i00 (1) Own burning allowed 1) open burning to reduce yard trash and household paper products will be allowed provided gIM(: followine conditions are met 1. The open burning is three hundred (300) feet or more from any occupied building other than that owned or leased by the individual doing the burning. 2. Must be Out hundred (100) fed or more from any public highway or road. 3. Must be at least 5fty (50) feet from any residence where the burning is being conducted. 4. Must be at least twenty five (25) fed from any woodlands, forests, or brush. 5. Must be in a son -combustible container or ground excavation covered by a metal inns h or gill. 6. Thee open burning is attended and adequate fire extinguishing equipment is readily avaNb)o at all times. 7. A site inspection will be required by Sanford Fire Prevention prior to any burning. Applicants must call the Division of Forestry at 407-856-6511, Seminole County Communications at 407- 665-5100 and Sanford Fire Prevention at 407-302-2520 each day prior to start-up.
