TEST SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION
General: The test specimen was a vinyl fixed lice prime window measuring 84" wide by 52" high
overall. The fixed lite was glazed to the frame members, providing a viewing area of 79" wide by
46-112" high. A rigid vinyl cap was snap-fitted,at the interior frame perimeter. The frame was of
welded mitered corner construction
Glazing: The fixed lite was interior glazed using a double sided adhesive foam tape back
bedding and a snap in double leafed dual durometer rigid vinyl glazing bead. The overall
insulated glass thickness was 0.875" thick consisting of two (2) dues of 0.187" thick tempered
glass and one (1) argon filled space created by a 0.50" thick intercept spacer.

be retained by NCTL for a period of four (4) years. The results obtained apply only to the specimen
tested. No conclusions of any kind regarding the adequacy or inadequacy of the gla93 in
