Ms. Dennison called the meeting to order at 10 AM.
Minutes
Mr. Mills moved to approve the Minutes of the September 16, 2010 Regular Meeting. Mr. Loader
seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.

Ms. Dennison presented a plaque to Bobby VonHerbulis and thanked him for his years of dedication and
service on the Planning and Zoning Commission board.
Proof of Publication
Mr. Yosefian moved to accept the proof of publications. Mr. Green seconded. All in favor. Motion carried
6 -0.

Hold a Public Hearing to consider a Conditional Use to establish a bail bond business for Magic Bail

Mr. Mills moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staff s recommendation. Mr.
Loader seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.

Mr. Loader moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staff s recommendation. Mr.
Esler seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.

Mr. Green moved to approve per staff s recommendation. Mr. Loader seconded. All in favor. Motion
carried 6 -0.
Hold a Public Hearing to consider amendments to the Sanford Land Development Regulations, Schedule
B -- Permitted Uses. Lang Robertson, Development Services Manager -- City of Sanford, representative.
Mr. Mills moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staff s recommendation with
Option C -1 regarding Bail Bond businesses (leave Schedule B as it is which allows consideration of Bail
Bond offices in RMOI, RC -1, GC -2, SC -3, RI -1 and MI -2 zoning districts subject to Conditional Use
approval by both the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Commission. Mr. Yosefian seconded.
All in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.
Staff Reports
A staff report was included in the agenda packet. Mr. Robertson informed the board there will not be a
November 4 th meeting and the next meeting is scheduled for November 18 th .
Citizen Participation
None.
Commissioners Reports
Mr. Mills requested a copy of the Schedule S changes that was considered and approved by the Planning
and Zoning Commission at a previous meeting and asked when City Commission was scheduled to
consider it. Mr. Robertson informed him he would have Ms. Dalton forward a copy of the document to
him and Schedule S has to be reviewed by the City Attorney before it is forwarded to the City
Commission.
Mr. Green informed the board that he has a new baby girl and thanked the board for their patience during
his absences in the past few months.
