AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A2~NDING 0RDI~TANCE NLrMBER 362 OF SAID CITY,
AS AMEhU)ED, SAID 0RDINJ~CE BEING AN ORDIN-
ANCE ESTABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE
CITY O? SANFORD, SAID A~AUDMENT TRANSFERRING
CERTAIN TERRITORY IN DISTRICTS R-1 AND R-2
TO DISTRICT C-1 IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY TEE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of San-
ford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 19&&, as amended, said
ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating twelve (12) districts, regular-
lng and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures,
land and water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes,
the height and size of structures, and size of open spaces for light
and ventilation; adopting a map of said districts; defining terms
used; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment there-
of; and prescribing penalties for violation.", be, and the same is
hereby amended as follows:
(a)
The property zoned in District R-1
(single Family) beginning at the in-
tersection of the South property line
of 18th Street with the West property
line of French Avenue, run Northward
along said West property line of French
Avenue to South property line of 15th
Street, thence Eastward along South
property line of 15th Street to East-
erly line of alley between French Av-
enue and Laurel Avenue, according to
plat of Orange Heights, thence South
along said East alley line to the
South property line of 18th Street,
thence West to point of beginning,is
hereby transferred to C-1 District.
The property zoned in District R-1
(Single Family) and R-2 (Multiple
run East to the Southeast corner
of Lot 9, Block 3, Tier 8,thence
run South to South property line
of 5th Street, thence run West to
the West property line of French
Avenue, thence run North to the
South property line of ~th Street,
thence run West to the Northwest
corner of Lot l, Block 6, Tier 9,
thence run North to the Northwest
corner of Lot 6, Block 3, Tier 9,
run thence East to the Southeast
corner of Lot 3, Block 3, Tier 9,
thence North to the Northwest cor-
ner of Lot 9, Block 2, Tier 9,run
thence East to point of beginning,
all in the Town of Sanford, accord-
ing to E. R. Trafford's Map there-
of as recordad in the public re-
cords of Seminole County, Florida,
is hereby transferred to C-1 Dis-
trict.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
