AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A~ENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 362 OF SAID CITY,
AS ~ENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF
SANFORD, SAID ~iENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN
TERRITORY FROM THE FOLLOWING DISTRICTS TO THE
DISTRICTS SHOWN: FROM R-i, R-2, and R-3 TO
C-i; FROM R-i-AA to R-i-A; FROM R-1-A TO R-i;
AND FROM R-1 to C-N.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City
of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as
amended, said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance Establish-
ing a Zoning Plan Within The City of Sanford, Creating Thirteen
(13) Districts, Regulating and Restricting The Location and Use
of Buildings, Structures, Land And Water For Trade, Industry,
Residence or Other Purposes; The Height And Size of Structures,
And Size of Open Spaces For Light and Ventilation; Adopting a
Ymp of Said Districts; Defining Terms Used; Providing for The
Adjustment, Enforcement And Amendment Thereof; And Prescribing
Penalties for Violation.", be, and the same is hereby, amended
as follows:
(a)
The property zoned in District R-
3 (Single-Family), located on the
West side of Sanford Avenue between
7th and 9th Streets, more particu-
larly described as the East one-half
of Blocks 9 and 10, of Tier l, E. R.
Trafford's Map of Sanford, is hereby
transferred to C-1 (Commercial-Retail)
District.
(b)
The property zoned in District R-3
(Single-Family), located on the East
side of Sanford Avenue between 7th

(c) The property zoned in District R-1
(Single-Family) and District
(Multiple-Family), bounded on the
North by 3rd Street, East by the
alley between Palmetto and Sanford
Avenues, South by 4th Street, West

as the West one-half of Block 5, of
Tier 1; all of Block 5, of Tier 2;
all of Block 5, of Tier 3; all of
Block 5, of Tier 4; and the East one-
half of Block 5, of Tier 5, of E. R.

(d) The property zgned in District R-l-AA
(Single-Family), located on the East
side of Bay Avenue between 24th and
25th Streets, more particularly de-

llS, 120, 122, 124, 126, 128, 130,
132, 134, 136, 138, 140, 1~2, 14~, 146,
148, 150, 152, 154, 156, and 158, of
Sanfo Park, is her~b~ transferred to
R-1-A (Single-Family; District.
(e)
The property zoned in District R-1-A
(Single-Family), bounded on North by
25th Street, East by Mellonville Ave-
nue, West by Bay Avenue, more partic-
ularly described as Lots 76 to 85, in-
clusive of Oak Hill Subdivision, ~s
hereby transferred to R-1 (S~ngle-~amz±y;
District.
(f) The property zoned in District R-1
(Single-Family), located on the South
side of 25th Street between the Pig
N' Whistle Sandwich Shop and McReynolds
Drug Store, more particularly described
as Lots l, 3, 5, 7, and 9, and all (less
S. 64.9 ft.) of Lot A, of Frank L. Wood-
ruff's Subd.; the ~orth 250 ft. of un-
platted part of Northeast Quarter of
Northeast Quarter, of Section l, Township
20 S., Range 30 E.; and the North 250 ft.
of the East one-half of Block 3, of
Spurling Heights, is hereby transferred
to C-N CO~,~hRCIAL-RETAIL (Neighborhood
Shopping) District.

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
