AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 362
OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE
BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A ZONING
PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
SAID AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN
TERRITORY IN DISTRICT R-1-A SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO R-2 MULTIPLE FAMILY
DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
Ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the height and size
of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventilation, adopting
a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjust-
ment, enforcement and amendment thereof; and prescribing penalties
for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Lots 22, 23 and 24 of Pace Acres, according
to Plat Book 3, page 21, Seminole County Public
Records,
AND
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly
line of Mellonville Avenue with the North line
of Celery Avenue, thence run Northerly along
said Easterly line of Mellonville Avenue 456.5
feet, thence run East 461 feet, thence run Southerly
parallel with Mellonville Avenue 456.5 feet, thence
run West 461 feet to point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-1-A Single Family
Residential District to R-2 Multiple Family Residential District.
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
