AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFO ~D, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1956, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1957.
WHEREAS, The City Manager has prepared and submitted a
budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford, Florida, for
the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1956 and ending September 30, 1957,
in accordance with the Charter of the City of Sanford, Florida, and upon
consideration thereof, said budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted
and approved as the budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October
1, 1956, and ending September 30, 1957, and
WHEREAS, The City Commissioners are of the opinion that the
several iterns of expenditures for said fiscal year beginning October 1, 1956
and ~2nding September 30, 1957, are reasonable, necessary and proper for
the administration of the affairs of said City and the proper conduct of said
City,
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said budget of revenues and expenditures of
said City of Sanford, Florida for the fiscal year beginning October 1~ 1956
and ending September 30, 1957, approved by resolution of the City Commis-
sion of the City of Sanford, Florida on the 24th day of September, 1956, a
copy c.f which is hereto attached and hereby made a part of this ordinance,
be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved, confirmed, accepted and
adopted.
are hereby, established and fixed as appropriations from the revenues to be
derived by said City of Sanford, Florida, from taxes to be levied and col-
lected, and from ali other sources, for the various purposes as set forth
in the said estimates for the said period beginning October 1, 1956 and
ending September 30, 1957.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective October
l, 1956.
PASSED AND ADOPTED This 24th day o!' September, A.D. 1956.
