AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION 23-24 OF CHAPTER
23 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, 1954~ SAID SECTION PROVIDING FOR
DEPOSIT BY THE CITY CLERK IN THE PUBLIC
PROJECTS FUND OF ALL SUMS ASSESSED AND
COLLECTED FOR AN ADMISSION TAX TO EVENTS
CONDUCTED OR HELD AT THE SANFORD MUNICIPAL
ATHLETIC FIELD AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUMS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW PUBLIC GRAND-
ST:kND OR STADIUM, SAID AMENDMENT PROVIDING
FOR THE DEPOSIT OF SAID SUMS IN THE GENERJ~L
FUND TO BE APPROPRIATED FOR MAINTENANCE OF
INSTALLATIONS AT TIlE SANFORD MUNICIPAL
ATHLETIC FIELD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 23-24 of chapter 23 of the Code of the City
o: Sanford, Florida 1954, said Section providing for the deposit by the City
Clerk in the Public Projects Fund all sums levied and collected as an admission
tax to any event conducted or held at the Sanford Municipal Athletic Field, and
appropriating said sums for the construction of a new public grandstand or
stadium be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section
23-24. Disposition of Tax. Ail sums collected under the provisioqs of this
Article shall be deposited by the City Clerk in the general fund and shall be,
and hereby are, appropriated for the maintenance oi installations at the
Sanford Municipal Athletic Field.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.

A.D. 1956.
