AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION il-13 OF THE
CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
1954, SAID SECTION PROVIDING FOR DUTY TO
KEEP PREMISES FREE FROM FILTH, TRASH,
RUBBISH~ WEEDS~ ETC., SAID AMENDMENT
PROVIDING FOR THE PLACING OF FILTH,
TRASH~ RUBBISH, WEEDS, ETC. FOR RE-
MOVAL BY THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 11-13 of the City Code of the City
o*' Sanford, Florida, 1954, said Section providing for duty to keep
premises free from filth, trash, rubbish, weeds, etc. be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SEC. 11-13. Duty to keep free from filth, trash,
rubbish, weeds, etc.
The owners, agents and occupants of all lots and
lands in the City shall at all times keep the same, and
the sidewalks and parkways adjacent thereto, free from
frith, dirt, leaves, trash, rubbish, undergrowth, under-
brush, and the excessive growth of weeds. Ali of said
owners shall deposit such weeds, grass, trash or other
noxious matter in a convenient place for removal by the
garbage and trash departments of the City, provided,
however, that all such weeds, grass, trash and other
noxious matters shall be so placed so that the same
shall not extend past the curb line or into the streets
or sidewalks adjacent to said property.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall become e[fective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
