ORDINANCE NO. ~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING CERTAIN
STREETS, ALLEYS AND CUL-DE-SAC, AS DELINEATED
BELOW, IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That those certain streets, alleys and cul-de-sac,
described as follows:
A. Streets:
1. Mangoustine Avenue from Third Street to Fifth Street;
2. Oleander Avenue from Fourth Street to Fifth Street;
3. Fourth Street from Oleander Avenue to Olive Avenue;
4. Jessamine Avenue from Fourth Street to Fifth Street;
5. Violet Street from Locust to Chapman Avenue.
Alleys:
1. That certain alley 7.5 feet in width on the East side
of the West 1/2 of Block 6, Tier 16, running North
and South dividing the block, of Florida Land and
Colonization Company Limited Map of St. Gertrude's
Addition to the Town of Sanford, according to plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 1, pages 112, 113, 116
and 117 of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida;
2. That certain alley 10 feet in width lying between Lots
1, 4andS, Block G on the East, and Lots 2, 3 and 6,
Block G on the West, Neave's Addition to Sanford,
according to plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1,
page 123, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida;
3. That certain alley 10 feet in width lying between Lots
1, 4andS, Block J, and Lots 2, 3 and 6, BlockJ., of
Plat of Blocks J & K, Neave's Addition to the Town of
Sanford, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 1, page 74 of the Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida.
Cul-de-sac:
Commencing at a point 861.78 feet North and 25.15
feet West of the SE Corner of Section 26, Township
19 South, Range 30 East, Seminole County, Florida,
said point being the NW Corner of Tenth Street and
Olive Avenue, run S. 89° 59' 10" W. along the North
line of Tenth Street 601.68 feet, thence run N. 0° 22'
E. parallel with Oleander Avenue as shown on the plat
beginning, said point of beginning lying on the
Easterly line of a cul-de-sac concave Southerly and
being the Northerly terminus of said Oleander Avenue
and having a radius of 50 feet, thence run Northerly,
Westerly, and Southerly along said cul-de-sac a dis-
tance of 168.82 feet, through a central angle of
193° 27' 01", thence run N. 89° 59' 10" E. 99. 31
feet to the point of beginning;
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as public streets,
alleys and cul-de-sac in the City of Sanford, and the City does hereby dis-
claim for itself and the public ail interest therein.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
10th day of November, 1970.
